Get Active

As I have mentioned many times on this blog, and in my free email course 7 Strategies for English Fluency, listening is really important – and repetition is key!!

But in order for you to become fluent in English, you are going to need to get active.

Listening to a story is passive.

Watching a movie is passive.

Listening to a podcast is passive.

Watching the news is passive.

(And these are all very important things for you to do!!)

Speaking is active.

Answering questions is active.

Writing is active.

Asking questions is active.

(And this is what is going to help you become an excellent English speaker!)

As many of you know, I have spent the last month and a half working on a new product that I hope to release in the next week or so. The product includes lots of stories and vocabulary lessons to help you improve your comprehension, but the best part is that it also includes a very active component for YOU.

I am recording these lessons right now and I am super excited about them. They are going to help you be able to think in English and to improve your speaking skills tremendously, so that you can speak automatically, with ease and confidence.

No more translating in your head (this slows you down), no more thinking about grammar rules (this slows you down), no more fear of making mistakes (this usually keeps you from even trying!).

I will let you know more about this new product as soon as I am finished recording the lessons. It has been a lot of work, but I am really enjoying myself and I am super excited to make these available to you. They are really powerful!!

Stay tuned!
