As an English coach (teacher/tutor), I want to help my students reach their fluency goals as quickly as possible, using efficient and research-based methods.

Even today, many people believe that your genes determine whether or not you will become an expert in something. You are either born with talent or not, and there’s nothing much you can do about it.
But that’s not what the research shows.
The research shows that it is quite possible for anybody to achieve high-level skills in almost any endeavor.
There is no language gene!
There’s hope!
You can achieve high levels of English fluency — but you must be willing to do what is necessary!
